Rocca d'Anfo

The "Rocca D'Anfo" is a military fortress of Venitian origin (1426 - 1796), modified in the Napoleonic times (1797 - 1813). It's architecture is stunning and its position overlooking the Lake Idro of particular beauty. In modern times it has been used by the Italian military forces from 1992 until recently. Since the 1st of May 2007 it has finally been opened to the public.
 
You can enjoy a guided tour inside the fortress following its labyrinth of narrow passage-ways, steep steps, turrets, mule tracks and hidden tunnels. The views over Lake Idro are astonishing.

                   

  

Wireless connection

You can bring your lap top to Tre Capitelli! A wireless connection will give you unlimited access to the internet and enables you to receive and send all your e-mail. All you need is the so called Gold Key package and an access code that will be given to you at your arrival. The package costs 20 euros, if you order in advance you pay only 15 euros!

Anna, Diana, Diana Panoramica, Flavia, Flavia Panoramica, Elisa, Elena, Carla, Maria, Elettra (gratis), including the bar and restaurant.

 

Tennis camps for children and adults

This summer you have the possibility to lean how to play tennis, or to improve your existing skills of tennis. Apollania Mezanni, is organizing tennis camps for children (starting 5 years old) and adults . Courses are given in small groups, so an optimal guidance can be achieved. Children are put in age categories groups. For the 5 to 9 year olds, the tennis game is performed on mini-fields (6 children/per course) with appropriate small rackets and softer tennis –balls. A one week camp starts on Monday and terminates on Friday with a tournament and a graduation ceremony. Each day 1.5 hours of tennis is practiced, also included are agility, dexterity and fun running games. For the children from 9 years and onwards, or for younger children with some tennis experience, the lessons are taking place on a regular court (max 4 children /per hour). Adults also can participate. If enough interest exists, children will be put into their respectively age groups and an exclusive young or adult course will be added. All equipment is at hand – Mini-nets; mini- rackets - Balls, Cones, etc. The group lessons are starting in the morning with the youngest. Price for the whole week 55€. Outside the group lessons, the possibility exist to follow private lessons, During these lessons you can practice or get familiar with a peculiar move or hand. Or you can exchange some balls in a game with Apollania, who possesses quite some experience in international competition. The cost for private lessons is 15 € /hour (Not included is the rental of the court, this is to be paid at the reception). Apollania Mezanni is a Belgian/Italian player with roots in Anfo She started playing tennis in Belgium at the age of 8. In Belgium she ranked 5th after the great names like Clijsters, Henin and Wickmayer. She won several national tournaments and titles, and started to play international youth tournaments at the age of 14. At the age of 15 she ranked 20th in the European youth players, category 16 years. After witch she played the ITF 10.000 $ tournaments. At the age of 17 she decided to go and live in Italy . And here in Arezzo (Tuscany) she trains at a tennis academy . In 2009 she played the semi-finals in Norway and in Gardone Val Trompia , and In 2010 she won the tournament of Porto ( Portugal) and got to the finals of the Gardone Val Trompia(Italy) and Albufeira (Portugal). So she is a routined player at competition, and she can certainly add that extra touch your tennis game needs, for starters and beginner players, she can bring and lay a good solid basis in technique and tactic of tennis.
