For the joy of surfers and sailors, the wind punctually blows every afternoon on the waters of the lake. For the more experts and for the kitesurf lovers, we suggest going to the northern side of the lake called Baitoni (reachable in 10 minutes by car), known for the strong wind.

Moreover, in the morning, the lake is as flat as a billiard table, so that one can canoe, searching for isolated beaches, which aren't reachable on foot.

SPORT > NATURE

The green mountains surrounding the lake are a further occasion to practise sport in close contact with nature: there are many impervious paths and ways which climb in the green woods up to the tops, and one can climb them with mountain bike or the traditional bicycle, because of the presence of courses of every kind, duration and difficulty.

For free-climbers, it is possible going to Vesta (10 minutes by car from the Village), where there are some interesting rock faces to climb.

Not to miss also the many possibilities to ride: area guides will take you to the close alpine valleys in Gaver, one of the most suggestive mountain areas, rich of water and alpine paths, reachable in 20 minutes by car from the lake of Idro.

SPORT > ADVENTURE

We bring you to the pure adrenaline, for at least 8-year old people. Experts will throw with you with the duo-paragliding from the surrounding tops the lake; you can canyoning and go down along impervious torrents, plunge in natural puddles of water and lower from falls with the aid of ropes and harness.
